Mission Bay is a new hospital campus dedicated to women and children’s health the facility includes services for surgery, emergency, birthing, OB/GYN, pediatrics, long-term care, NICU, Pediatric ICU, radiology, and research laboratories.
CYA performed pre-construction plan and specification review, consulted at periodic onsite construction meetings, and performed the medical gas system verification testing per section 5.1.12.3 of NFPA 99.
We tested all components of the medical gas system from the source equipment located in the Energy Center, to the distribution and alarm systems in the hospital and outpatient building. Gases tested include Oxygen, Medical Air, Nitrogen, Nitrous Oxide, WAGD, Vacuum, Lab Air, and Lab vacuum.
