The new Heart and Vascular Center is an annex on the existing hospital building. It has Cardiac ORs, a Cardiac ICU unit, and patient rooms dedicated to Heart and Vascular care. The new center has its own carbon dioxide, medical air, and vacuum source equipment. It also has its own master alarm panels.
CYA performed medical gas system design, code consulting, and verification testing for this project. CYA verified the tie-in to the nitrogen and nitrous oxide systems already serving the main hospital. Part of our verification process included testing a replacement Liquid Oxygen tank that was relocated to a pad.
